Environmental pollutants and its health effects
Environmental pollution is a cause of worry not only for India but also this issue prevails worldwide. Waste disaster and energy consumption along with the economic development has increased due to industrialization and urbanization.
Due to pollution health is affected negatively. Most severe harmful effects are perinatal disorders, mental disorders, mortality in infants, excess stress, respiratory disorders, malignancies, etc.
The risk of health hazards have been increasing ever since. This needs to be reduced. This can be done by controlling the levels of pollution and taking some action in order to reduce pollution.
Air pollution pose a higher risk for asthma and other respiratory disorders. Air pollution has harmful impact on our lungs and one may suffer from respiratory inflammation. Coughing, sneezing and wheezing are some of the common signs that we observe often in people.
Just like air is important for our survival, water is also equally important. Safe and clean water is required for drinking, irrigation, cooking, bathing, etc.
Water can be easily polluted and contaminated. Water pollution leads to vomiting, nausea, skin rashes, diarrhea, liver and kidney damage, etc.
Water is a precious resource and our mistakes have also leaded to air and water pollution. Some action should be taken to reverse this damage. We all can try to make a positive difference and that’s what counts. Even a very mild effort towards a better environment can lead towards healing and a cleaner environment.
